Your Score: Katharine Hepburn

You scored 21% grit, 19% wit, 52% flair, and 23% class!

You are the fabulously quirky and independent woman of character. You go your own way, follow your own drummer, take your own lead. You stand head and shoulders next to your partner, but you are perfectly willing and able to stand alone. Others might be more classically beautiful or conventionally woman-like, but you possess a more fundamental common sense and off-kilter charm, making interesting men fall at your feet. You can pick them up or leave them there as you see fit. You share the screen with the likes of Spencer Tracy and Cary Grant, thinking men who like strong women.

Find out what kind of classic leading man you'd make by taking the Classic Leading Man Test.

Weaver don't feel good...
11:37pm 09/04/2007

mistress_weaver

just to clarify what is wrong with me,I have an enlarged heart, bad liver and some lung problems dealing with the big heart (lungs clear though)...the heart thing is probably due to a malfunctioning heart valve that I have had for most of my life...looks like I might be heading to heart valve surgery...but the DR is still doing tests (and tests) to further isolate what is wrong. there is also the possibility that I have a liver growth (my grandfather had cancer on his)
this is why I have been in just weak health...tiredness is the biggest side effect and the excex sweating may be part of it.
it started after my cancer surgery, which can make a small health problem often come to the surface.

any enrgy sent, prayers rendered or help at home would be a lovely thing.
thank you all for your continued love and support.
loves,
Weaver

I AM FOREVER walking upon these shores,
Betwixt the sand and the foam,
The high tide will erase my foot-prints,
And the wind will blow away the foam.
But the sea and the shore will remain
Forever.

The shining world overflows in my hands
Embracing the limitless time
I move forward

The wind blows from faraway
I'm looking up at the drifting clouds
I can't turn back

The warmth in my memories
My heart that seems to lose to anxiety
I'll cast them off and walk again

The truth is while I was perplexed
I kept on searching for something
Because the daybreak
Is bound to come

The voice that I hear somewhere
Is distant, like a guidepost
My echoing heartbeats are waking
And seeking

I'll keep on waiting for the tomorrow still unseen
The cold wind and such
Can't stop me

The shining world overflows in my hands
Embracing the limitless time
I move forward

The changing times pass by
The sound of the born wind in towns
Even if I listen closely, I can't hear it

It's sleeping in anyone's chest
Without erasing the flames of passion
I'll walk until they burn out

The truth is while I was lost
I kept on losing something
I definitely believed
In the daybreak

Even if the place that I ended up at
Was different from what I sought for
I'll start over again from the beginning
Until I can grasp it

I raise my hands, and only the faint light
That spills over them
Is the place that we aim to

I'll keep on waiting for the tomorrow still unseen
The cold wind and such
Can't stop me

The shining world overflows in my hands
Embracing the limitless time
I move forward....

the world is all hard edges
sharp pains of sound, light and touch
I huddle...sweating and shaking
cravings so hard as to consume me

my heart is grabbed hard
pulled up into my throat
and slammed down into my bowels
then the terrifying flutter of panic induced palpitations

pain is everywhere
no part of my physical exhistance is spared
aching intensely
skin a mass of wiggly, creepy flesh
sharper pains in the joints
stronger in my old wounds

relief would be simple
$10
swallow,smoke or prick
but it must end now
hurting my family
hurting myself
lie,cheat and steal

Kali-Ma's double edged sword
if yer gonna play,ya gotta pay
I broke the rules
5 days on...1 day off

so here I twitch
punishment for not following the rules
discomfort eased by the kindness and love of family
soft comforts in the harshness of reality
my every basic need and desire taken care of
surrounded by the light touch of fur
hearing the reassuring purr
sweet licks of a loving tongue
lifemate by my side
waiting for the eternal days and nights to end

The Ballad of the Clampherdown

It was our war-ship Clampherdown
Would sweep the Channel clean,
Wherefore she kept her hatches close
When the merry Channel chops arose,
To save the bleached marine.

She had one bow-gun of a hundred ton
And a great stern-gun beside.
They dipped their noses deep in the sea,
They racked their stays and stanchions free
In the wash of the wind-whipped tide.

It was our war-ship Clampherdown,
Fell in with a cruiser light
That carried the dainty Hotchkiss gun
And a pair of heels wherewith to run
From the grip of a close-fought fight.

She opened fire at seven miles --
As ye shoot at a bobbing cork --
And once she fired and twice she fired,
Till the bow-gun dropped like a lily tired
That lolls upon the stalk.

"Captain, the bow-gun melts apace,
The deck-beams break below,
'Twere well to rest for an hour or twain,
And botch the shattered plates again."
And he answered, "Make it so."

She opened fire within the mile --
As ye shoot at the flying duck --
And the great stern-gun shot fair and true,
With the heave of the ship, to the stainless blue,
And the great stern-turret stuck.

"Captain, the turret fills with steam,
The feed-pipes burst below --
You can hear the hiss of the helpless ram,
You can hear the twisted runners jam."
And he answered, "Turn and go!"

It was our war-ship Clampherdown,
And grimly did she roll;
Swung round to take the cruiser's fire
As the White Whale faces the Thresher's ire
When they war by the frozen Pole.

"Captain, the shells are falling fast,
And faster still fall we;
And it is not meet for English stock
To bide in the heart of an eight-day clock
The death they cannot see."

"Lie down, lie down, my bold A.B.,
We drift upon her beam;
We dare not ram, for she can run;
And dare ye fire another gun,
And die in the peeling steam?"

It was our war-ship Clampherdown
That carried an armour-belt;
But fifty feet at stern and bow
Lay bare as the paunch of the purser's sow,
To the hail of the Nordenfeldt.

"Captain, they hack us through and through;
The chilled steel bolts are swift!
We have emptied our bunkers in open sea,
Their shrapnel bursts where our coal should be."
And he answered, "Let her drift."

It was our war-ship Clampherdown,
Swung round upon the tide,
Her two dumb guns glared south and north,
And the blood and the bubbling steam ran forth,
And she ground the cruiser's side.

"Captain, they cry, the fight is done,
They bid you send your sword."
And he answered, "Grapple her stern and bow.
They have asked for the steel. They shall have it now;
Out cutlasses and board!"

It was our war-ship Clampherdown
Spewed up four hundred men;
And the scalded stokers yelped delight,
As they rolled in the waist and heard the fight,
Stamp o'er their steel-walled pen.

They cleared the cruiser end to end,
From conning-tower to hold.
They fought as they fought in Nelson's fleet;
They were stripped to the waist, they were bare to the feet,
As it was in the days of old.

It was the sinking Clampherdown
Heaved up her battered side --
And carried a million pounds in steel,
To the cod and the corpse-fed conger-eel,
And the scour of the Channel tide.

It was the crew of the Clampherdown
Stood out to sweep the sea,
On a cruiser won from an ancient foe,
As it was in the days of long ago,
And as it still shall be!

How many TechnoPagans does it take to screw in a light bulb?
If the computer is still working, who cares about the light bulb.

How many TechnoPagans does it take to screw in a light bulb?
TechnoPagans don't screw in lightbulbs, they screw in IRC chat channels.

How many TechnoPagans does it take to screw in a light bulb?
Nobody knows, we couldn't get them to leave the keyboard.

TechnoPagans are often found discussing the best method of removing hot wax from keyboards. Seems unaccustomed to sunlight. Have had coven-mates for years whom they have never seen face to face, much less know which continent they live on.

Distinguishing Signs: Casts circle with #5 torx driver. Chalice contains Jolt. BoS is writtin in Perl. Refers to eclectic ritual as "cross-platforming." Thinks "naked in your rites" means a non-GUI environment.

Are you smiling right now?

Well then, you just might be a TechnoPagan!
